Teens like Portia are counting on you. Please, will you donate before 30 November?
Portia is a teenager with a learning disability who worked incredibly hard to graduate from high school and land her first job. Her journey wouldn’t have been possible without kind supporters like you.
But there are many more disabled rangatahi who will soon be graduating from high school – and they urgently need your help to take their first steps into adulthood with confidence. Our life-changing Transition Two program is 100% funded by donations and grants – and we need to raise $100,000 by the end of Spring to keep available in the future.
Every dollar you give will build a brighter future for disabled teens. Thank you for believing in what these young people can achieve.

Stories we have recently shared with supporters
Brent’s story
Meet Brent, a legally blind cartoonist and teacher who connects with people through his art.
With limited public transport in Oamaru, our team assists Brent in getting to his work and doing everyday tasks.

Chrissy & Mandy's story
Chrissy and Mandy have lived in Manawatū for much of their lives, sometimes with family and, for Mandy, sometimes in residential care. Now, with the support of our team, they live together in Feilding.
Mandy previously lived in residential care, an environment that can impact day-to-day choices and freedoms for some people. To enable her to live independently, CCS Disability Action organised a team of support workers who live with the pair 24/7. Read their story.
