It's a much better story
with you in it

Your donation makes a difference

Whether you give a little or a lot, you contribute to our mahi, supporting 5,000 disabled people and their families. We also assist many more through schemes like the Mobility Parking permit scheme, which helps over 170,000 people access their local communities.

Your support lets us deliver quality services that are unique:

  • We cover every community in Aotearoa New Zealand. We visit people in their homes and local community - even the remote ones.

  • Enhancing mana. We tailor supports to individuals – supporting disabled people to increase the control and choice they have in their lives.

  • We support all people with any kind of impairment. We are the largest disability support and advocacy organisation in Aotearoa New Zealand.

Ways to donate

There are many ways to support us. You can find full details below and we’re here to help if you have any questions. You can choose to donate to your nearest CCS Disability Action branch or donate nationally, which means funds are distributed to all our branches across Aotearoa New Zealand.

Online

It’s fast and secure to donate by credit/debit card or Paypal on our website. You can make a one-off donation or start a monthly donation.

When will I receive my tax receipt?

  • For one-off donations your tax receipt will be emailed to you instantly.

  • For monthly donations, your tax receipt will be sent in April each year with a summary of all the payments made in the last financial year.

Cheque alternative

Your donations are very important to us. If you are used to donating by cheque, there are other simple options. Many people find donating by internet banking is a good alternative. You can give a gift by transferring an amount from your bank account to our bank account.

You can donate by Internet banking several ways:

  • You can make the payment yourself via your bank’s online banking website or mobile phone app. Look for the Payments section and set CCS Disability Action up as a new payee.

If you get stuck, call your bank and they can help setup the payment details, so you’ll be able to select us and make a donation whenever you wish to.

  • Or you can call or visit your bank and give them our details – they will be able to make the donation for you. The details you need are:

Account Name: CCS Disability Action Inc

    Account Number: 02-0568-0140030-10

Reference: Please use your first and last name as a reference.

  • You can also donate to us at any branch of BNZ

If you would like to use internet banking, here are the details you will need. If this is your first donation by Internet banking, please get in touch to let us know, so that we can look out for your donation and send you a thank you.

Account Name: CCS Disability Action Inc

Direct debit

A direct debit authority gives organisations permission to take funds directly from your bank account or credit card. You choose the amount you would like to give and select from the 1st, 10th, or 20th as the monthly date the funds will be deducted. You can also select the date of the first payment.

Simply print then complete our direct debit form then return it by:

  • Email – scan both sides of the form and email to Support@ccsDisabilityAction.org.nz

  • Post – post the completed form to CCS Disability Action, PO Box 6249, Marion Square, Wellington 6141

Your tax receipt will be sent in April each year with a summary of all the payments made in the last financial year.

Payroll giving

Payroll giving is an easy way to make a regular donation. You can ask your employer to deduct donations from your pay for approved charities like CCS Disability Action. Recurring gifts like these help us to plan and make the most efficient use of our resources.

For every dollar you donate, you get 33.33 cents back as a tax credit. This credit reduces the amount of PAYE or withholding tax you pay automatically. It also means you don’t have to submit an annual tax claim for donations, your tax credits are available to you straightaway.

Please give your employer the following account details:
Account name: CCS Disability Action Payroll Giving
Account number: 02 -0568-0140030-00
Charity Number: CC30070

Please ask them to add your name to the Reference field too.

Please get in touch to let us know you have started payroll giving, so that we can look out for your donation and send you a thank you! Email Support@ccsDisabilityAction.org.nz.

Donating your tax credit

Tax credits for donations lets you claim up to one-third of your donation back from Inland Revenue for donations made to approved charities and organisations. It’s easy to upload your receipts and submit a claim in the myIR website, or you can complete the paper form and return it to Inland Revenue by post.

You can also choose to gift these tax credits to CCS Disability Action, once they are refunded to you, if you would like to make an even bigger donation from your initial gift.

Find more on tax credits for donations and the rules that apply from the IRD here.

Note: if you have been making donations via payroll giving, the amount of tax you pay will have been adjusted on the spot, so you’re not able to claim for those donations.
