Vicky Honey

I have held senior leadership roles across health, public service, defence and social infrastructure, with a focus on leading complex services, supporting strong teams and delivering practical outcomes for communities.

Before joining CCS Disability Action, I worked in senior health and social infrastructure roles with Ventia, supporting teams that delivered essential services across hospital and health settings. I have also held leadership roles with Te Kawa Mataaho Public Service Commission and the New Zealand Defence Force, including Deputy Director of NZDF Shared Services. These roles have given me experience in operational leadership, service improvement, relationship building and creating positive, high-performing team cultures.

As General Manager for the Central Region, my role is to support our regional teams and offices to provide quality support to disabled people, their whānau and communities. I am committed to building strong relationships and ensuring our services reflect CCS Disability Action’s values and strategic priorities.

My connection with CCS Disability Action is also personal. A member of my family was supported by the organisation for many years, and I have seen the difference respectful, responsive support can make. That experience has given me a real appreciation of the role CCS Disability Action plays alongside disabled people and whānau.

I am proud to join an organisation committed to supporting disabled people to have choice, control and the opportunities to live the lives they choose.
