This is a pivotal enabling role supporting the reliability, accessibility and effective use of our systems and data to improve outcomes for disabled people.
As our Systems and Data Coordinator, you will provide day-to-day operational support across systems, reporting and data activities, with a strong focus on our client management system, Te Puna Korero.
This role is focused on operational delivery, coordination and user support. You’ll work closely with colleagues across the country to support high quality reporting, strong data practices and confident system use.
Key areas of focus include:
Reporting and Data Support – developing, coordinating, maintaining and running operational, internal and contract reports so they are accurate, timely and fit for purpose
Systems Support (Te Puna Korero) – providing friendly, responsive front-line support to staff; helping resolve issues and liaising with system providers as needed.
Data quality and improvement – supporting data integrity, compliance, audits and continuous improvement activities
Project and team support – contributing practical insights and support to data and systems projects.
About you
Ideally you will bring:
Experience working with information systems, databases, or client management systems (experience with CMS environments is highly desirable)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity
Ability to develop and deliver reports
Experience working with datasets for operational or compliance purposes
Confidence explaining data and systems to non-technical users
A service-focused, respectful approach when supporting staff
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
Familiarity with reporting tools, spreadsheets, or basic data visualisation techniques
Experience in the not-for-profit, disability, health or social services sectors, or supporting audits and contract reporting, is desirable but not essential.
