We are seeking Support Workers to support individuals in the Tauranga region to participate in activities they enjoy including cooking, going for walks, going to cafes and the movies, working out at the gym, studying, attending appointments. participating in social groups and maintaining their home and wellbeing.

The majority of hours available are between 9am and 3pm however there is potential for flexibility for the right person. Whether you are available for just a couple of hours per week or more, we would love to hear from you.
Our organisation takes a social, rather than medical approach, supporting disabled people to live their best lives. We are guided by the Enabling Good Lives principles, shifting power and authority back to disabled people and their families, to increase choice and control in their lives.
About you
We are looking for someone who is able to demonstrate the following personal skills and attributes, and professional skills and knowledge:
Will enjoy supporting disabled people to achieve their goals.
Can relate well to a diverse range of people
Have initiative and are reliable
Honest and trustworthy
Are enthusiastic about supporting people to explore their interests.
Have a positive attitude and can support positive interactions
Experience is not required but is welcomed
Full licence required
