CCS Disability Action is seeking a part time Branch Administrator/Receptionist to join our fantastic team in our Timaru office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is highly organised and proactive, and enjoys keeping the smooth running of daily office operations, while supporting the team and providing responsive supports to the people we support.
As a Branch Administrator/Receptionist, you will:
Ensure the smooth and efficient running of daily office operations.
Provide administrative support to our Service staffs that enables them to undertake their roles effectively.
Maintain a welcoming office space for disabled people and their family/whānau and other external stakeholders e.g. community agencies, general public and anyone else who visits the office.
Our organisation takes a social, rather than medical approach, supporting disabled people to live their best lives. We are guided by the Enabling Good Lives principles, shifting power and authority back to disabled people and their families, to increase choice and control in their lives.
About you
We are looking for a person who:
Is a team player – but can also work independently.
Is friendly, adaptable, pleasant manner, and thrives when no two days are the same.
Can engage with people from diverse backgrounds in a friendly manner in person and/or over the phone.
Is tech-savvy, proficient in computer skills across a range of Microsoft software including Word, Outlook, Excel, Publisher, and other common applications and have the willingness to learn and pick up new systems quickly.
Has excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Has demonstrated customer service experience.
Experience in the disability sector is preferred but not essential.
