You will also help shape our future direction by improving how we manage, use and share data to support both internal and external needs.

You will play a pivotal role in designing and enabling CCS Disability Action’s future technology and data environment. This includes ensuring that our systems and emerging technologies are ethical, accessible by design, aligned with our strategic priorities and grounded in the lived experience of disabled people.

Key areas of focus include:

  • Leading and strengthening our CMS support functions

  • Managing and improving reporting and data extraction

  • Developing our organisational data capability and practice

  • Supporting technology-enabled service innovation

  • Ensuring our systems and data foundation are future-ready

  • Embedding disabled people’s voices and accessibility needs into system design, reporting and data use.

About you

Ideally you will bring:

  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn, adapt and work effectively with ICT systems including our client management system - Te Puna Kōrero.

  • A leadership style that supports openness and understanding, empathy, teamwork, and delivery.

  • Experience with organisational reporting requirements and the ability to extract and interpret information efficiently.

  • The capability to present data in clear and meaningful ways to diverse audiences

  • Ability to manage a high-performing data team, ensuring complete and complementary skillsets.

  • The ability to balance long-term data and systems development with short term operational delivery.

  • The confidence to influence and engage effectively at all levels, ensuring alignment between data, systems, people and organisational strategy.

  • Confidence engaging in strategic conversations with senior leaders, contributing insight rather than just information.

  • A strong systems-thinking mindset and the ability to understand how information, people, technology, and services interact over time.
