Don Martin

Kia ora, my name is Don Martin, and I live in sunny Masterton in the beautiful Wairarapa.

I’m currently serving as a Board Member for the CCS Disability Action Foundation, where I’m focused on helping our organisation become increasingly financially sustainable. I’m passionate about applying strong governance and stewardship – kaitiakitanga – principles to ensure we can invest wisely now and for future generations.

I bring experience in finance, property investment, governance, and directorship. I’ve also worked extensively in funding and communications, supporting major grants programmes and sharing the stories of organisations across Aotearoa. I’m proud to have previously been part of the CCS Disability Action team, where I led finance, communications, fundraising, and infrastructure for several years.

It’s a privilege to be involved with CCS Disability Action. The organisation has played a meaningful role in my life, providing me with access to my community through the mobility parking scheme – something I wouldn’t have had otherwise due to a lifelong neurological condition.
