Irene Wilson
Though born and bred in Wellington, I was raised proudly in a Dutch culture.
I started my role with CCS Disability Action in 2012 and have never looked back from this decision.
My main role is to provide secretarial and administrative support for our boards and leadership team. I love systems and processes and am committed to resourcing people and sharing my knowledge. I value and enjoy the challenge of learning – both professionally and personally, and how I can bring these learnings to my work.
I bring a background in administration to the role, including some accounting experience.
It is a privilege to work for an organisation that has strong values about making a difference in the lives of disabled people and I continue to learn daily about what this looks like.
My family is made up of four fabulous adult children and their partners, and four delightfully busy grandchildren.
Outside of work, I love to decorate (indoor and outdoor painting), quilt, garden and get out for a bike ride, while continuing to grow the strong relationships I have with my adult children and grandchildren.
