Hours: Permanent, part-time position, 30 hours per week (Monday to Thursday, 8am to 3.30pm)
An exciting opportunity! We are looking for a superstar who provides quality secretarial and administrative support to work alongside with our Adult Team Service Manager. This is a permanent part-time, 30 hours per week role based in Christchurch.
Job specific information
As a Personal Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting administration needs of the Service Manager, fostering positive relationships with people around you, and contributing to the region’s focus on quality service delivery for disabled people. Please note this role also has a small personal tasks support requirement.

About you
We are looking for people who is able to demonstrate the following personal skills and attributes, and professional skills and knowledge:
Experience in a service delivery organisation is desirable.
Understanding of the disability sector and ability to relate to disabled people in a positive affirming manner.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
A high degree of accuracy and strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
Efficient in using Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship management skills.
Demonstrates previous experience in organising self, using time management techniques and determining priorities.
Demonstrates resilience and able to manage multiple tasks and work within short deadlines/timeframes.
Displays personal motivation for ongoing personal development.
Strong customer service focus.
Is a team player who establishes good relationship with colleagues and external stakeholders.
