Hours: Part-time hours available (work includes sleepover and weekend hours)

We are looking for Community Support Workers to work with work with disabled people we support in Whangarei. The support that you will be required to provide will vary. Some of the work will be physical.
Our organisation takes a social, rather than medical approach, supporting disabled people to live their best lives. We are guided by the Enabling Good Lives principles, shifting power and authority back to disabled people and their families, to increase choice and control in their lives.
About you
We are looking for people who:
Have a passion for enabling others to lead good lives
Flexibility in the hours you can work
Have a clean full driver’s license
Experience providing one to one support in the community is preferred but not essential
Have a Health Care Assistant Qualification or a Level 2 or 3 equivalent or experience working in the Disability sector, or a willingness to undertake training
