One in four New Zealanders live with an impairment. But society does not always work in a way where everyone can participate, thrive and achieve their goals. CCS Disability Action is here to change that.

Our vision is to see every disabled person included in the life of their family and community. If this is an aspiration you support, there are a number of ways you can help!

Disabled people and their family and whānau can face a number of different challenges. These include physical barriers or barriers created by other people’s attitudes. They can also face a lack of access to information, resources and support. These things can create an environment that disables people and prevents them from living a full, everyday life.

We work directly with disabled people and communities to find ways around these obstacles.

If you’d like to learn more about how our work impacts the lives of people across New Zealand you can find more in the Our Stories section of our website.
