Sean Voigt

Hi, I’m Sean and I hail from Cape Town, South Africa. I’ve since called New Zealand, the UK and South Africa home over the course of my career and I’m now settled in Whitby, Wellington with my whānau.

I joined CCS Disability Action as CFO because I wanted my financial career to sit behind work that genuinely matters – supporting disabled people, their families and the wider whānau across Aotearoa. Drawing on a career spanning central government, financial services, scientific research, media and education, I hope to bring rigour, clarity and a steady hand to our organisation’s finances so that resources are well used and that the mission stays front and centre.

Outside of work, I’m kept busy by my wife, Meghann and our children Matthew and Emma. Matthew has been diagnosed with Autism and has gone a long way to helping shape my view of where my skills are best served. I have aspirations of returning to my love of running, which has been paused due to several knee surgeries. That may also tire our Golden Retriever enough for me to do some reading when time allows.
