The Jubilee Sailing Trust are on a voyage of discovery. And they want you to come along!

Their custom designed tall ships (Lord Nelson and Tenacious) are suitable for disabled and non-disabled people and include features not seen on other vessels – the entire ship is wheelchair accessible including the platforms up the mast. There are aids for the visually impaired like a speaking compasses and braille signage and people with limited dexterity can even helm the ship with a joystick.

They do offer some scholarship opportunities for people keen to attend but who can’t stretch to the price tag.

They have an trip leaving from Wellington very soon in early June and Auckland-based opportunities later in the year. You can find their full calendar of events here.
