This submission focused on issues of access to resources and solutions to issues of domestic violence for disabled women and children. It makes links where appropriate to other core pieces of work such as the recent review of the Children, Young Persons and their Families legislation. The aim was to show how solutions can be applied so that people living in domestic situations can be supported to be valued.

Sustainable Transport: Update of the New Zealand Transport Strategy (Ministry of Transport)

CCS Disability Action welcomed the opportunity to comment on the draft New Zealand Transport Strategy. This submission focused mainly on access and mobility issues for disabled people. While the main focus was on the use of land transport, reference was also made to access issues using sea and air transport.
