Response to the Review of Special Education 2010 (DOC - 163 kB)
16 March 2010
Our recommendations are based on four principles:
1. Inclusive education works
2. Making sure that the allocation of funding is individualised and targeted towards personalised outcomes
3. Think about what is possible in inclusive education, rather than being limited to current solutions and services
4. ‘Choice’ is considered in the context of all educational decisions that parents make, rather merely between mainstream vs special education environments
