Wendy Coutts - Chair
Wendy has been married for 28 years and has two adult daughters. She lives in Blenheim and is an accountant by trade. Wendy is the principal of Coutts Clerical Services Ltd.

She has been involved with CCS since 1989 at both a Local Advisory Committee and Local Executive Committee level, serving as Treasurer, President and Chair.

Wendy was appointed to the National Board in 2001. She was then elected as Regional Representative for the Central Region, covering the Wairarapa, Wellington and Nelson Marlborough areas. During this time, Wendy also become a member of the Finance Committee so passed her regional responsibilities onto another board member. She is currently Deputy President as well as Chair of the Finance Committee.

Vanassa McGoldrick
Vanassa was originally a client of CCS Disability Action and experienced first-hand the benefits of having supports in place for herself and her family.  Vanassa has gone on to travel extensively and have a successful legal career.

Vanassa spends much of her spare time devoted to a number of disability-related ventures, including involvement in the local council Disability Advisory Group, being a trustee on the Whangarei Accessible Housing Trust, chairperson of Whangarei Riding for the Disabled, and more recently becoming involved with the local LAC.

Vanassa is also the chairperson of the Northland branch of Legal Executives and works part time as a registered legal executive with Henderson Reeves Connell Rishworth.  Vanassa is the sole carer for two beautiful girls - Tara (9) and Caitlin (7).

Helena Tai
Helena has been involved with CCS Disability Action since 1998, beginning on a Local Advisory Committee and being elected onto the National Board in 2004. She has a Diploma in Disability and Community Support and a Certificate in Social Services.
Helena has a lived experience of disability through her own disability and her three children who have also inherited the same impairment. As a parent she has had vast experience challenging both the medical and education systems.

Family is hugely important to Helena, and having a Maori husband she feels has given her greater insight into the specific struggles that Maori with disability have to overcome.

Kim Willetts
Kim first became involved with CCS in 1995 when her family started to receive services. She then became involved with the organisation at Local Advisory Committee level in 1998, and was elected to the National Board in 2005.

Kim has a lived experience of disability and lives in Oamaru with her family. She has a background in disability, social audit and barrier free training, and is Chair of the Waitaki Family Health Trust.

Mathilda Schorer
Mathilda first became involved with CCS in 1985 when her daughter was born with a disability. Since the early 90's she worked in the local governance of CCS Tairawhiti Hawkes Bay and was elected to the National Board in April 2006.

Mathilda is passionate about the vision of an inclusive society where disabled people can live ordinary lives of their own choice.

She lives on a farm in Hawkes Bay with her husband and has a daughter and a son who are both in tertiary education. At present she is undertaking post-graduate study extramurally at Massey University majoring in Disability Studies.

Vicki Davis
Vicki Davis has been involved with CCS since 1991 and became elected to the National Board in 2005. She has a strong commitment to working at the regional level and is dedicated to the organisation's bicultural journey.

Vicki lives in Tauranga, working as a Marketing Manager and is also a founding and current trustee of Te Whanau Kotahu - Family Together. Vicki has a lived experience of disability and the everyday issues facing living inclusively in our communities.
